Behind the Brand

Miss Lulu is a 50's inspired clothing label for modern day Pin Ups & Rockabilly Dolls! The timeless looks and gorgeous Pin Ups of the 1950s is at the heart of Miss Lulu the clothing label. Miss Lulu is all about capturing the essence of the fun, feminine, cheeky, sexy pin up girls and classic American rockabilly styles of the fifties. 

A love of kitsch California, retro treasures, American pump & diners, vintage cars and old school tattoo art inspires the designs, fabrics and colour combinations of Miss Lulu’s seasonal collections.

In the begining with the labour of love, Brianna Brent (left) owner/designer of Miss Lulu, handmade every garment in a bedroom studio and travelled to different markets most weekends to sell her garments and expose the label.
Miss Lulu now stocks primarily at major rockabilly events and venues such as the Sydney tattoo expo (in March) and Brisbane’s Greazefest (in August), as well as through Miss Lulu’s online store.

Last year at the Sydney Tattoo Expo America’s biggest Pin Up beauty Sabina Kelley stopped by "the Miss Lulu location" to slip into a Miss Lulu’s red and white check "Housewife" skirt! Miss Lulu clothing was also shot in America late last year for Deadbeat magazine which features the best hot rods, the most beautiful pin-ups, the coolest tattoo artists and bands.

Dedication to quality of construction, flattering fits and cheeky fabrics is what keeps Miss Lulu’s customers coming back for more! Miss Lulu’s garments are handmade in NSW Australia, in small runs of fabric, perfect for the all the individual beauties out there! Miss Lulu personally washes and preshrinks all her fabric in her home laundry, the key to long lasting garments that will not twist or shrink on you!

Due to growing customer demands Miss Lulu now manufactures her exclusive collections through an ethical Australian production house. Miss Lulu designs, pattern makes, cuts and samples all pieces in house.
